Role Description

We are seeking a full-time IT Support Specialist to join our team on-site at our Grimsby campus. The specialist will be responsible for providing technical support to faculty, staff, and students, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, configuring, maintaining, and repairing desktop computers, and managing general IT and help desk support tasks. This role will play a critical part in maintaining the technology infrastructure necessary for a modern learning environment.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in Technical Support and providing Help Desk Support
• Experience in Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
• Proficiency in managing and maintaining Desktop Computers and related peripherals
• Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology systems and best practices
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a focus on customer service
• Experience in an educational or similar environment is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
