About Job
We are hiring for one of our clients in the education sector for an Academic Writing & Study Skills Lecturer – Higher Education role. The position focuses on supporting higher education students in developing academic, research, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver academic writing, referencing, and study skills sessions
- Support students through workshops, tutorials, and digital learning materials
- Teach research, critical thinking, and presentation skills
- Provide structured feedback on assignments and academic progress
- Monitor student performance and suggest improvement strategies
- Contribute to curriculum development and teaching resources
- Support both group and individual learning needs
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant subject (PhD preferred)
- Experience in UK higher education teaching (preferred)
- Experience supporting adult learners in academic development
- Strong communication and digital literacy skills
- Ability to support diverse student groups
- Teaching qualification (desirable but not mandatory)
