Desktop / IT Support – Engineer – End User / IDAC / Microsoft Defender Full Time

I am hiring for Desktop / IT Support – Engineer – End User / IDAC / Microsoft Defender

Location: Barrow in Furness

• Hands-on experience with IDAC (Ivanti Device Application Control) and/or Microsoft Defender (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10 & Windows 7), including build, configuration, and registry management
• Experience with SCCM (OS deployment, application deployment, troubleshooting, monitoring, and reporting)
• Familiarity with scripting technologies such as PowerShell, VBScript, or batch scripting (preferred)
• Understanding of security practices including BitLocker encryption, NTFS permissions, and shared folder security
• Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange environment, Outlook configuration, and collaboration tools like Skype for Business
• Working knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) tools such as ServiceNow
