Job Description Radiology Healthcare Assistant | Imaging| Part Time – 22.5hrs per week | £12.76 p/h | Permanent | Elland Spire Elland are looking for an experienced Radiology Healthcare Assistant to join our imaging department on a part time basis of 22.5hrs per week, days are flexible. You will be there to assist the multi disciplinary team to provide exemplary patient care and examination.
Spire Elland Hospital has been providing high levels of medical treatment and personal care since 1985. Our hospital has a full multi-disciplinary medical team on-site who practice some of the most advanced treatments on the latest generation imaging and diagnostic technology. This means we can offer everything from screening and rehabilitation through to leading-edge surgical procedures and excellence in specialist fields like orthopaedics, general surgery, gynaecology, and cosmetic procedures.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Assisting the Imaging team in the provision of exemplary patient care
- Helping with administrative duties such booking patient appointments.
- Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
- Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being to the appropriate person
- Assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies
Who We’re Looking For
- Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential
- Cannulation experience desirable but not essential
