To provide a full administrative service to clinical, nursing and secretarial staff within the Surgical Directorate in order to support the provision of direct care and treatment of patients.

Up-to-date keyboard/typing skills and working knowledge of Microsoft packages essential. Previous clerical/administration experience necessary, within a hospital environment advantageous.

Candidates must be able to lift and handle quantities of case note folders, and to bend and stretch to retrieve and file case notes, and to load/unload and manoeuvre case note trolleys.

The ability to travel across sites to meet the needs of the service may be required.
