Job OverviewOutpatient Appointments Coordinator (Band 3)Location: Frimley Park HospitalContract: Permanent | Full-time (37.5 hours per week)We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual to join the Medicine Directorate as an Outpatient Appointments Coordinator. This is a key administrative role, responsible for managing and booking outpatient appointments across Trust sites for a variety of specialties.As a first point of contact for patients, you will play an important role in delivering a professional and efficient service. You will support clinical teams by coordinating appointments in line with Trust targets, ensuring clinics run smoothly while maintaining a high standard of patient care.The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will liaise with both internal teams and external stakeholders, contributing to the overall delivery of high-quality outpatient services.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to providing a positive patient experience.Main duties of the jobArranging appointments over the telephone with patientsBooking patient appointments from waiting listsRescheduling and cancelling appointments at short notice, when requiredRescheduling of appointments due to annual leave/other commitments Liaising with clinical adminWorking for our organisationVisa SponsorshipThis position is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
